A big challenge in this project was to map user profiles that would fit the product and meet specific market demand. Initially, desk research was performed to understand who the prospects for e-commerce were in a pandemic situation. This helped us see opportunities to create a bridge between the business and the market needs.
In addition to this, in-depth research was held regarding direct and indirect competitors, leading to an understanding of their value propositions, product receptivity, pricing, design maturity, as well as how they communicate with users, and much more. Overall, 7 products were analyzed, which helped us gain clarity about opportunities and challenges for the development of a new product in this market.
I've talked to two micro-entrepreneurs. They were selected based on our hypotheses, as we were looking for young entrepreneurs and more experienced business owners who haven't had much experience in the digital universe. Next, an affinity diagram was created, crossing information and needs in order to define the core product.
In short, Vende Digital's value proposition was created based on their users’ needs and market opportunities. This information helped build and prioritize what our MVP was.

After the definition, prioritization of requirements and functionality, sitemaps were created to have an overview of the product’s size and to find possible problems with the flow. The idea was to build a simplified architecture both for the sake of implementation and for the business profile of our users.
